BOOKING CONDITIONS We promise to provide you with the accommodation as booked by you and advertised on http://corfuvillaowners.com/ , as well as any “Holiday Extras” (transfers, boat hire, hampers etc) you have purchased and are included in your invoice.
BOOKINGS AND DEPOSITS Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of your, non-refundable, deposit and your confirmation invoice has been received from Corfu Villa Owners. Booking options will be cancelled if your deposit is not paid. We guarantee that once your booking has been confirmed (including receipt of deposit) there will be no changes to the quoted cost of your accommodation as a result of any differences to the current Euro exchange rates. We reserve the right to amend our accommodation prices, at any time, prior to confirming your booking. All changes will be notified to you immediately. A cancellation by you will only be accepted from the person who provided payment for the accommodation, either via: email to: [email protected] or fax to: Corfu Villa Owners: Fax: +30 26610 24809. Deposits are non refundable. Deposits are only refunded should your holiday be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, for example, force majeure (war, weather, strikes etc) In the unlikely event that we have to amend your holiday details after confirmation, you will be advised immediately, Corfu Villa Owners will do their utmost to arrange similar, alternative, accommodation should this occur and a full refund will be offered should the changes be unacceptable. At this point you will not be entitled to any compensation as a result of this cancellation.
PAYMENT DETAILS A 30% deposit will be required to confirm your booking and the full, remaining, balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival. If booking within the 6 week period then the full balance will be paid at the time of confirmation. We accept the following methods of payment: Credit Card Bank Transfers Only on prior request can you exceed the number of people from the original booking. At no time can the number of your party exceed the number of beds in your accommodation. If you notice any breakages on your arrival that may have been overlooked please contact Corfu Villa Owners and inform us. Accidents do happen on holiday and in the event of breakages during your stay we will require payment (for repair or replacement) to be made locally. We ask that you to be honest and report any damage to us immediately so that the accommodation can be left in excellent condition for the next clients.
ACCOMMODATION Our photography will be updated when major changes occur to any of our accommodation but you may notice some minor, decorative, changes on your arrival. We cannot be held responsible for any building work that has appeared near to your accommodation but we will ‘keep an eye’ on things and inform you immediately if building work should start nearby. Your accommodation will be cleaned and made up for your arrival, cleaning days will be noted in your information folder in your villa but generally you will have a change of linen once and towels twice per week on designated cleaning days. We will provide you with a few basics so that you can at least have a cold drink or a cup of tea when you arrive at your villa (e.g. tea, coffee, water, sugar, milk). Should you require a more substantial hamper for your arrival you may order this via Holiday Extras. A member of the Corfu Villa Owners team will contact you soon after your arrival to assist you with any local information you may require. On your day of arrival your accommodation will be available for occupancy at 1 pm and on your day of departure you will be required to leave your villa no later than 10 am, wherever possible we will try to allow you a later check out time but this is not guaranteed.
INSURANCE Is not included in the price of your accommodation. You will be required to purchase travel insurance prior to your departure from your place of origin. Please protect yourself with travel insurance!
OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU We are a local, English/Greek/Dutch speaking, team that will provide you with an excellent service. We will honour your booking with us and once we know what you want out of your holiday, we will go out of our way to make that happen. We will provide you with driving directions and a local map to your accommodation or transfer details as booked by us as well as 1 visit from a member of our team and a helpful information book in each accommodation. We cannot be responsible for things out of our control such as, weather, flight delays, changes to the operation of local businesses, water shortages, power cuts, local bus timetables. We operate in accordance to EU Health and Safety standards.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO US To provide Corfu Villa Owners with your travel details, when requested. If your transfer has been booked with us and your outbound flight is delayed then it is vital that you contact our office with new arrival times in order for your transfer to be rebooked. To respect your accommodation and leave it as you found it. Be responsible for any children in your group, often balconies have low railings so we ask that children are never left alone on balconies or by swimming pools as all pools are unattended. Air Conditioning is included in the price but we do ask that you only use the A/C when you are in the villa and turn it off when you leave. When in use all doors and windows must be closed.
