Beaches in Corfu

Beaches, Corfu has many wonderful beaches to visit.

Agni Beach

The East coast has pebble beaches, warmer waters and less wind than the west coast. The North East, although pebbled beaches has some of the most picturesque views.

We recommend Agni, Barbati, Kouloura, Kalami & Kerassia on the North East Coast, all small villages with excellent Sea Food Tavernas/Restaurants. From Agni & Barbati you can hire boats to explore to beautiful East coast of the island.

Aghios Gordis

The West coast has sandy beaches, water is cooler and higher winds than the East, be careful, the cooling winds can make the beach life more comfortable but pack on the sun protection as you may get sun burnt.

We recommend Aghios Gordis, Glifada, Paleokastritsa & Paramonas for a fantastic day on the beach. Gift Shops, Bars, Tavernas and Restaurant available. From Paleokastritsa you can hire boats to explore the many caves and isolated beaches.

Chalikounas Beach

The South West has beautiful secluded sandy beaches which attract Kite surfing but not many tourists, for a more peaceful day on the beach.

We recommend Chalikounas Beach, a long stretch of secluded beach south of Paramona on the east side of Korission Lake. There are a couple of Bar shacks on the beach serving drinks (inc. Alchohol) and snacks/sandwiches.On the road in to Chalikounas you will find restaurants & tavernas 5 minutes from the beach.
